What is AutoQA?

AutoQA is a privacy-first QA assistant that runs locally on your machine. It's built for developers, QA engineers, and tech leads who need AI-powered project analysis without sending source code to external services.

Whether you're reviewing a handed-over project, generating QA plans, or diagnosing build failures — AutoQA gives you evidence-grounded answers without ever uploading your code.

"Most AI tools send your code to the cloud. AutoQA runs the entire workflow on your machine — from project scanning to QA reports."

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to common questions about AutoQA.

Does AutoQA upload my code anywhere?

No. The entire AI runs locally on your machine using a downloaded GGUF model. Your source code, logs, and reports never leave your computer. The only network calls are for license validation and update checks.

What operating systems are supported?

Currently Windows 10 (64-bit) and later. macOS and Linux support is planned for future releases. The beta is Windows-only.

Do I need a GPU?

No. AutoQA includes a CPU fallback and works without a GPU. If you have an NVIDIA GPU with CUDA, you'll get faster AI processing — but it's optional.

How much disk space does it need?

The beta installer is ~13 MB. For v1.0, plan for around 10 GB total — most of that is the local AI model which downloads on first run.

Is the beta really free?

Yes, 100% free. As thanks for being an early tester, you'll also get a lifetime discount when v1.0 launches with paid plans.

When will v1.0 with the AI core ship?

We don't have a firm date yet, but beta testers will be the first to know. Sign up above to get notified by email when v1.0 is ready.

Can AutoQA work offline?

Yes. After installation and model download, most core features work fully offline. Internet is only needed for updates and license verification.

What about Windows SmartScreen warnings?

During beta, Windows may show a SmartScreen warning for the installer. Click 'More info' then 'Run anyway' to proceed. Code signing is planned for v1.0 which will eliminate this warning.
